4-3/4″ x 62″ Raised Panel Box Newel. Straight shaft, no base block. The raised panels are hand crafted using true stile & rail construction, exactly like a custom interior door or fine furniture. Not every manufacturer uses this high quality construction technique. Many raised and flat panel posts on the market today are made by just routing out a design in the side of a standard plain post. This box newel post can be made with no lower trim or no trim at all. The 4375RP post can be made special with matching upper raised panels placed between the cap and neck molding. Custom post cap are offered in any style.
