Double return treads are 1-1/32″ thick and 11-1/2″ wide with a front bullnose. Double return treads have a throat of the the length selected plus a 1-1/4″ return per side. So for example: if you order a 48″ double return tread, the throat is 48″, then you add an 1-1/4″ wide return on both sides which provides a finished overall length of 50-1/2.” Since the treads are made to order, you can specify any dimensions you like.
