Description
The rounded sides of the top tread of a double end starter step are 14″ wide. The center area of the tread, known as the throat, is 11-1/2″ wide. The rounded sides adds an additional 11-1/2″ in length to the overall length selected. Example: A 48″ double starter step has an overall end to end length of 71″ (48″ plus 11-1/2″ plus 11-1/2″) All double starter stair steps include the curved riser assembly and curved base shoe molding.
