Description
The rounded right side of the top tread of a right hand starter step is 14″ wide. The majority of the tread, known as the throat area, is 11-1/2″ wide. The rounded right end adds an additional 11-1/2″ in length to the overall length selected. Example: A 48″ starter step has an overall end to end length of 59-1/2″ (48″ plus 11-1/2″) All starter stair steps include the curved riser assembly and curved base shoe molding.
