Starter stair steps include the appropriate single or double curved riser assembly. Custom size starter treads are available.
Pin Top Newel Post 3010
The 3010 pin top wood newel post has a 15″ base block, a 27″ turned area, and a 1″ tall pin on top, for a total overall length of 43″
Bending Wood Handrail 9100
9100 bending handrail is for curved wood stairs and arched balcony railings. This rail is bendable to a maximum of a 4 foot radius. This bending rail profile is frequently referred to as the California wood code rail. The 9100 bending handrail profile has no finger joints. Made in the USA.
Right Hand Volute
Right hand volute with attached up easing. Climbing or “Compound” RH Volutes are available by quotation. Available for all wood railing profiles.
Wood Balusters
Our fine hardwood balusters can be customized in terms of height, width, and spacing between details. We specialize in historical reproduction turnings for staircases. All wood baluster profiles can be made in a large version. 2 1/4″ width is the most common upgrade, but we are capable of producing turned wood balusters and newel posts up to 5 1/2″ wide. All wood balusters and wood newel posts are available with the bottom square base block turned round.
