Another finished project! We love how this flared Gothic wooden staircase turned out! This flared staircase provides a grand statement in the entrance of this home. It uses a mixture of wood and iron for the balustrade; featuring Gothic Hammered Bar Balusters, Monroe Newel Posts and a wooden handrail. Hammered face square bar Plain Square Gothic iron balusters are 9/16″ thick x 44″ long.
Bending Wood Handrail 6710
6710 bending handrail is for curved wood stairs and arched balcony railings. This rail is bendable to a maximum of a 4 foot radius. The 6710 bending handrail profile has no finger joints. Made in the USA.
Wood Stair Treads
Wood stair treads are offered in a standard 1-1/32″ finished thickness after surfacing and sanding. Extra thick hardwood stair treads for open rise staircases are available in any thickness. The most popular over sized wood tread sizes are 1-3/4″ and 2″ thick. We have produced treads as thick as 4″. Any stair tread thicker than 1-3/4″ will require face glue lamination(s) to meet the desired finished dimension.
Monroe Series
Monroe series wood newel posts have a design based on Greek columns. This architectural style is known as Hampton to many in the stair parts industry. Monroe stair posts can be modified to any special size needed.
